Installation Steps
1. Preparation: Turn off the electricity at the main fuse or circuit breaker box and the wall switch. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, flat, and strong enough to support the lamp.
2. Mounting: Secure the mounting plate (D) to the outlet box using the mounting screws (A). Pass the supply wires through the mounting plate.
3. Wiring: Connect the fixture wires to the supply wires using the plastic wire connectors. Follow the provided wiring chart carefully. Ensure the ground wire is connected to the green ground screw. Wrap each connector with electrical tape and ensure no wire strands are exposed before tucking wires into the outlet box.
4. Final Assembly: Align the back plate (E) with the pre-assembled mounting screws on the mounting plate (D) and secure it with the knob nuts (F). If the back plate is not snug against the wall, adjust the threaded length of the mounting screws on the mounting plate. Install the bulbs (not included) and screw the glass shades (I) onto the sockets (H).
Cleaning and Maintenance
To clean the fixture, wipe it with a soft cloth. Clean the glass shades with a mild, non-abrasive soap. Do not use abrasive materials, scouring pads, powders, steel wool, or abrasive paper, as these can damage the surface.
