The VEVOR 150W-888A is designed for extracting edible oils from suitable seeds. Important: Always preheat the machine for 10 minutes before adding ingredients. Do not operate continuously for more than 4 hours; allow a 30-minute rest period. After finishing, use the reverse button for 20-30 seconds to clear residue, which prevents the press bar from getting stuck when cooled.
Important Safety Warnings
- Risk of Burns: The press chamber, screw, and oil outlet become extremely hot. Do not touch these parts during operation or until the machine has cooled down (minimum 30 minutes after power off).
- Pinch/Crush Hazard: Keep hands, hair, and clothing away from moving parts. Never insert hands or tools into the press chamber while running.
- Electric Shock Hazard: Unplug the machine before cleaning or disassembling. Do not use with wet hands or near water.
- Usage Restrictions: For adult use only. Do not press hard materials like stones, metal, or glass.

Operation Procedures

- Plug in the power.
- Start the preheat switch and warm up for 10 minutes.
- After the warm-up is completed, press the start switch to start the press.
- After the raw material is squeezed and idling for 1 minute, turn off the start button and the preheating.
- Press the reverse button for 30 seconds to clear the squeeze.
- Allow the oil to precipitate for 8 hours before storing in a glass bottle.
Disassembly and Cleaning
Before removing the press bar, press the reverse button for more than 30 seconds to clear residue. Pull out the bolt and take out the squeeze rod. If the bar is stuck, tap it gently on a chopping board with the hexagonal direction upwards. Use the provided brush to clean the press bar. If residue is stubborn, soak in water for a few hours. Do not use acid, alkali, soda, or abrasive materials. Dry naturally after cleaning.
Troubleshooting
- Oil entering slowly: Check for congestion in the inlet. Ensure particles are not too large (make them peanut-sized). If the material is too wet, heat it to remove moisture.
- Slag/powder sprayed out: Often caused by over-baking the raw material.
- Motor stops: The material may not be suitable for cold pressing; fry and soften it first. Ensure the machine is preheated for at least 10 minutes.
Oil Yield Reference
Yield varies based on quality, origin, and moisture content. Typical yields include: Peanut (38%-45%), White Sesame (45%-55%), Black Sesame (43%-55%), Sunflower Kernel (45%-50%), Walnut (45%-55%), and Flaxseed (43%-50%).

Common problems
Check for inlet congestion, reduce particle size of raw materials, or heat material to reduce moisture content.
Reduce baking time of raw materials; ensure they are not over-baked.
Ensure raw materials are suitable for pressing; preheat for at least 10 minutes; if jammed, remove squeezer and clear residual material.
Preheat the machine for 30 minutes to soften the slag before attempting to remove the bar.
Before use
- Place machine on a stable table (solid marble or wood).
- Check power cord for damage.
- Clean all food contact surfaces.
- Preheat the machine for 10 minutes.
- Ensure raw materials are dry and not too large.
Specs in practice
- Reverse Button
- Used to clear residue from the press chamber before disassembly or if the machine jams.
Images and diagrams
- Steps 1-4 illustrate the assembly of the press rod, squeezer, and locking pin.
- Steps 5-7 show the installation of the slag pipe, hopper, and oil collection basin.
- Steps 8-10 demonstrate the heating process and adding ingredients.
Model compatibility
