The Vitamix 12-Cup Food Processor Attachment is designed for use with Vitamix blenders featuring the SELF-DETECT technology. Before use, ensure your blender base is compatible. Always use the provided food pushers to feed ingredients into the chute; never use hands or utensils. Do not operate the unit continuously for more than 3 minutes.

Care and Cleaning
The work bowl, snap-on lid, multi-use blade, and discs are dishwasher safe. The SELF-DETECT base is not dishwasher safe; clean it by wiping with a cloth moistened with warm, soapy water. For sanitizing, wash pieces in a solution of 1.5 tsp bleach in 2 quarts of water or 16 oz vinegar in 16 oz water, let stand for 1.5 minutes, and air dry.
Storage
To store, assemble the attachment without the lid. Invert the lid and place it into the work bowl so the small pusher fits over the center column. Place the discs into the disc case and snap it onto the work bowl.

Troubleshooting
- Uneven chopping: Process smaller batches or use pulse mode instead of continuous operation.
- Liquid leaks: Do not exceed the 8-cup liquid capacity.
- Uneven slices: Pack the food chute carefully and maintain even pressure on the pusher.
- Soft cheese spreading: Ensure cheese is cold and apply even pressure on the pusher.
