Quick guide from the manual
The WilTec 50739 is a 12V oil suction pump designed for clean oil changes. Important: The pump is designed for a maximum continuous operation of approximately 15 minutes. After this period, you must allow the pump to cool down. Always heat the engine oil to 40–60 °C before pumping to ensure proper flow.
Safety instructions
- Do not pump gasoline, kerosene, water, gear oil, or other highly flammable liquids. This poses an explosion hazard and may damage the pump.
- Never run the pump dry. If oil pumping is interrupted, switch the pump off immediately.
- Ensure the 12V battery connection polarity is correct: black clip to the negative pole, red clip to the positive pole.
- Always switch off the engine before starting the pumping process.
- Ensure the device is protected from rain, direct jets of water, and humidity.
Device components
The set includes the following parts:

- Oil pump
- Suction probe (6 mm diameter)
- Suction hose (10 mm diameter)
- Drain hose (10 mm diameter)
- Power cord with 12V battery clips
- ON/OFF switch
Operating instructions
- Heat the engine oil to approximately 40–60 °C.
- Switch off the engine.
- Connect the suction probe and suction hose to the pump's suction neck. Connect the drain hose to the outlet neck. Secure all hoses with the provided clips.
- Insert the suction probe into the oil-gauge hole until it reaches the deepest point of the engine sump.
- Place the drain hose into a suitable waste container.
- Connect the battery clips to the 12V battery, ensuring correct polarity (red to positive, black to negative).
- Switch the pump on using the ON/OFF switch.
- Once pumping is complete, switch the pump off.
- Refill the engine with new oil according to the vehicle manufacturer's instructions and check the level with the oil gauge.
Technical specifications
- Intake voltage: 12 V
- Engine power: approx. 60 W
- Max. flow rate: 1.0 L/min
- Current consumption: 5 A
- Sound level: approx. 70 dB(A)

Practical help
Common problems
Stop immediately. Dry running causes damage to the pump and voids the manufacturer's warranty.
Check the battery connection polarity (red to positive, black to negative) and ensure the 12V power source is active.
Ensure the engine oil is heated to 40–60 °C. Cold oil is too viscous for the pump to handle efficiently.
Before use
- Inspect the device for any damage before use.
- Ensure the battery voltage is 12V.
- Verify that all hoses are securely fastened with the provided clips.
- Heat the engine oil to 40–60 °C.
- Prepare a container of sufficient capacity for the used oil.
Specs in practice
- Max. flow rate (1.0 L/min)
- The maximum speed at which the pump can move liquid; actual performance depends on oil temperature and viscosity.
- Duty cycle (15 min)
- The pump should not run for more than 15 minutes continuously; allow it to cool down afterward.
- Intake voltage (12 V)
- Requires a 12V DC power source, typically a vehicle battery.
Images and diagrams
- The suction probe (6 mm) is designed to be inserted into the oil-gauge hole to reach the bottom of the sump.
- The suction direction is indicated by arrows on the pump housing.
Model compatibility
- Suitable for engine oil, diesel oil, and fuel oil.
- NOT suitable for gasoline, kerosene, water, or gear oil.
