This document provides installation and safety instructions for the Winston Porter 15H outdoor wall sconce. Please ensure the power is disconnected before starting any work. If you are installing multiple sensor lights, ensure a minimum distance of 5 feet between them to prevent sensor interference. Installation must be performed by a qualified licensed electrician.
Safety precautions
- Always disconnect the main power supply before installation, cleaning, or replacing the light.
- Wear gloves during installation to avoid damaging the fixture surface or wires.
- Keep the lighting away from acid, alkali, and other corrosive chemicals or gases.
- Never cover the lighting while the power is connected.
- Ensure the outlet box is directly supported by the building structure.
Installation instructions
- Preparation: Gather necessary tools including a blade screwdriver, adjustable wrench, step ladder, and wire cutter.
- Mounting: Fix the circular bracket (B) to the existing electrical box (A) using the two bracket screws (C).
- Wiring: Connect the lamp body power line to the electrical box power line. Connect the live wire to the black wire (L), the zero wire to the white wire (N), and the ground wire to the ground wire. Secure connections with terminal caps (F).
- Finishing: Tuck the wires into the back plate of the lamp. Connect the lamp body to the bracket using the fixed screws (G) and secure it with the round nut (H).
