Installation Steps
- Preparation: Shut off power at the circuit breaker box and remove the old fixture and hardware.
- Mounting Plate: Thread the two mounting screws into the pre-drilled holes in the mounting plate. Attach the plate to the outlet box using the outlet box screws. Ensure the side marked "GND" faces outward.
- Height Adjustment: The fixture includes 8 pipes. Determine the desired height, feed the wires from the lamp holder through the pipes and canopy, and thread the pipes together until secure.
- Wiring: Connect the fixture wires to the supply wires using wire nuts:
- Ground: Connect fixture ground wire to supply ground wire (or to the mounting plate using the green ground screw).
- White: Connect fixture white wire to supply white wire or ridged wire.
- Black: Connect fixture black wire to supply black wire or smooth wire.
- Final Assembly: Tuck wires carefully into the outlet box. Raise the canopy, align it with the mounting plate screws, and lock it securely with the finials.
- Bulb and Glass: Install a light bulb (not included) according to the fixture's specifications. Raise the glass sheet to the lamp holder and secure it using the handle screws and plastic shim.
