  1. Mounting: Secure the universal mounting plate (B) to the outlet box using the provided outlet box screws.
  2. Grounding: Insert the green grounding screw into the circular strap. Wrap the ground wire from the fixture around the screw and connect it to the ground wire from the outlet box using a wire connector.
  3. Wiring: Identify your fixture wires and connect them to the house wires as follows:
    • Group A (Connect to Black House Wire): Black wire, or parallel wire (round & smooth), or white/grey wire with tracer, or brown/gold/black wire without tracer.
    • Group B (Connect to White House Wire): White wire, or parallel wire (square & ridged), or white/grey wire without tracer, or brown/gold/black wire with tracer.
  4. Securing Connections: Place the fixture wire against the house wire, fit a wire connector (not supplied) over them, and screw clockwise until firm. Gently pull the connector to ensure a secure connection.
  5. Final Assembly: Tuck wires into the outlet box. Assemble the backplate to the mounting plate and secure it with the mounting screws (A). Slide the glass (E) over the socket, then secure the retaining ring (G) and metal cover (F) using the spacer tool (H).
  6. Bulb Installation: Install the light bulb (not included). Do not exceed the maximum capacity recommended on the socket.

Cleaning and Maintenance

To clean the fixture, wipe it with a soft cloth. Clean the glass with a mild soap. Do not use abrasive materials such as scouring pads, powders, steel wool, or abrasive paper.
