To begin using your ACiQ remote controller, follow these steps:


- Install Batteries: Slide the back cover off and insert two R03/LR03 batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
- Select Mode: Press the MODE button to cycle through AUTO, COOL, DRY, HEAT, and FAN modes.
- Set Temperature: Use the TEMP up or down buttons to adjust the desired temperature.
- Set Fan Speed: Press the FAN button to adjust the fan speed (AU-100%).
- Power On: Point the remote at the indoor unit and press the ON/OFF button.
Remote Controller Buttons and Functions
Familiarize yourself with the key buttons on your remote:

- ON/OFF: Turns the unit on or off.
- MODE: Cycles through operation modes.
- TEMP: Increases or decreases temperature in 0.5°C/1°F increments.
- FAN SPEED: Adjusts fan speed.
- SWING: Controls horizontal louver movement. Hold for 2 seconds for vertical auto swing.
- TURBO: Enables the unit to reach the preset temperature in the shortest time.
- ECO/GEAR: Enters energy-efficient modes.
- LED: Turns the indoor unit's display and buzzer on or off.
- HUMIDITY: Adjusts room humidity during Dry operation (35%-85%).
- SET: Scrolls through advanced functions (Active Clean, Fresh, Sleep, Follow Me, AP mode).
Operating Modes
The remote supports several operation modes:
- AUTO: The unit automatically selects COOL, FAN, or HEAT based on the set temperature.
- COOL: Standard cooling operation.
- DRY: Dehumidifies the room. Fan speed cannot be changed in this mode.
- HEAT: Heating operation. Note: Not supported by cooling-only appliances.
- FAN: Circulates air without heating or cooling. Temperature cannot be set in this mode.
Advanced Functions
- Timer Settings: Use the TIMER button to set the unit to turn on or off automatically. The time increases in 30-minute increments up to 10 hours, then 1-hour increments up to 24 hours.
- Eco/Gear: Provides energy-efficient operation. Only available in COOL mode.
- Breeze Away: Avoids direct airflow on the body.
- Silence: Reduces compressor frequency for quieter operation.
- FP Function: Sets the unit to 8°C/46°F in HEAT mode (requires heat pump).
- Lock: Press Turbo and Humidity buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds to lock/unlock the remote.
- Follow Me: The remote measures the temperature at its current location instead of the indoor unit.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Battery Replacement: Do not mix old and new batteries. Remove batteries if the remote will not be used for more than 2 months.
Troubleshooting: If the remote is not controlling the unit, ensure there is a clear line of sight and no interference from direct sunlight. If buttons are unresponsive, check if the LOCK function is active.
