The Adler AD 2260 is a hair dryer designed for domestic use. Before first use, ensure the device is dry and the power cord is undamaged. Always unplug the device after use, especially when used in a bathroom, as proximity to water poses a risk even when the device is turned off. Do not block the air inlet or outlet during operation.

The device features the following components:

• 1: Foldable handle
• 2: Speed/temperature adjustment switch

Using the Device

Use the switch (2) to select the desired speed and temperature:

• 0: Off
• 1: Low speed, hot air (suitable for drying and styling slightly damp hair)
• 2: High speed, very hot air (suitable for fast drying and styling)
• Cool shot: Use for setting the hairstyle

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance:

• Inlet Grill: Regularly clean the inlet cover grill (4) to remove loose hair and dust.
• Housing: Clean the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Wipe dry. Do not use aggressive detergents.
• Internal Protection: Ensure no liquid enters the interior of the hair dryer.

Safety Precautions

Follow these essential safety rules:

• Do not use the device near water (e.g., in the shower, bathtub, or above a sink filled with water).
• If the device falls into water, unplug it immediately. Do not reach into the water while the device is connected to the power supply.
• Do not use the device near flammable materials or aerosols.
• Do not cover the air inlet or outlet.
• Do not wrap the power cord around the device.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• For additional protection, it is recommended to install a residual current device (RCD) in the electrical circuit with a rating not exceeding 30 mA.
