The AEG BS18SRABL is a right-angle drill intended for drilling and driving screws. Always remove the battery pack before performing any work on the product.

Safety instructions

• General: Read all safety warnings and instructions. Failure to follow them may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.
• Operation: Hold the power tool by insulated gripping surfaces when performing operations where the cutting accessory or fasteners may contact hidden wiring.
• Long drill bits: Never operate at higher speeds than the maximum speed rating of the drill bit. At higher speeds, the bit is likely to bend if allowed to rotate freely without contacting the workpiece.
• Dust: Wear a suitable dust protection mask as dust produced during use may be harmful to health.

Operation

• Battery: Insert the battery pack until it clicks into place. Remove it before any maintenance or adjustment.
• Speed selection: Use the switch to select between HIGH and LOW speed settings.
• Direction: Use the direction switch to select forward, reverse, or lock positions.
• Trigger: The trigger controls the speed; press further for higher speeds.
• LED Light: The light activates when the trigger is pressed.

Battery maintenance

• Storage: Store battery packs in a dry room. For storage longer than 30 days, store at a temperature below 27°C and away from moisture. Keep at 30%-50% charge.
• Protection: The battery pack has overload protection. If the tool stalls, turn it off immediately and do not turn it on again while stalled to prevent sudden recoil.
