Product Description
The tool is designed for driving and loosening screws and for drilling in wood, metal, ceramic, and plastic. The GSB model is also designed for impact drilling in brick, masonry, and stone. It features a user interface for controlling the Precision Clutch and KickBack Control.


Assembly

- Battery: Insert the charged battery into the battery holder until it clicks into place. To remove, press the battery release button and pull out.
- Tool Change: The drill spindle is locked when the on/off switch is not pressed. Open the keyless chuck by turning it in the direction of rotation 1, insert the tool, and tighten the chuck by hand in the direction of rotation 2.
- Bluetooth Module: The tool supports the Bluetooth Low Energy Module GCY 42 / GCY 42 NC. Refer to the module's specific instructions for installation.
Operation

Setting the Rotational Direction
Use the rotational direction switch (11) to change the direction. This is not possible while the on/off switch (12) is being pressed.
Setting the Operating Mode
- Drilling: Set the torque presetting ring (3) or mode ring (4) to the drilling symbol.
- Screwdriving: Set the torque presetting ring (3) to the required torque. For GSB, set the mode ring (4) to the screwdriving symbol.
- Impact Drilling (GSB only): Set the mode ring (4) to the impact drilling symbol.
Mechanical Gear Selection
Only operate the gear selector (5) when the tool is not in use. Position 1 is for heavy-duty applications (low speed, high torque), and Position 2 is for light-duty applications (high speed, low torque).
Maintenance and Cleaning
Always remove the battery before any work on the tool (maintenance, tool change, etc.). Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean for safe and efficient operation.
