The Bosch AdvancedDrill 18V-80 and AdvancedImpact 18V-80 are cordless drill drivers intended for driving and loosening screws and for drilling in wood, metal, ceramic, and plastic. The AdvancedImpact 18V-80 model is also designed for impact drilling in brick, masonry, and stone.
Product Description
The tool features a tool holder, gear selector, rotational direction switch, and battery charge indicator. The AdvancedImpact model includes an additional operating mode presetting ring for selecting between drilling, screwdriving, and impact drilling.


Assembly
Battery: Insert the charged battery into the battery holder until it clicks into place. To remove, press the battery release button and pull the battery out.



Auxiliary Handle: Screw the auxiliary handle into the thread on the left or right of the machine head depending on the working method.
Tool Change: Insert the application tool into the tool holder (3). The tool is held in place by a magnet. Various adapters (drill chuck, off-set angle, angle screw) can be fitted to the tool holder.
Operation
Rotational Direction: Use the rotational direction switch (7) to change the direction. Right rotation for drilling and driving screws; left rotation for loosening or unscrewing.
Torque Selection: Use the torque presetting ring (4) to preselect the required torque. In the 'MAX' position, the overload clutch is deactivated for maximum torque.
Gear Selection: Use the gear selector switch (6) to choose between low speed (Gear I) for large drilling diameters or screwdriving, and high speed (Gear II) for drilling and impact drilling with small to medium diameters.
Maintenance
Always remove the battery before performing any work on the tool (e.g., maintenance, tool change). Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean for safe and efficient operation.

Both models operate at a rated voltage of 18V. The AdvancedImpact 18V-80 features an impact rate of 0–29,250 min-1. Recommended ambient temperature for charging is 0 to +35 °C.
