The AL-KO LB 1860 is a hand-operated, battery-powered leaf blower designed for private use. It is intended for blowing away leaves, grass, dirt, and refuse. Ensure the device is fully assembled before use.

Safety Instructions

Assembly
Assembling the blowing tubes: Align the upper blowing tube (02/1) with the lower blowing tube (02/2) so that the cam (02/3) and the hole (02/4) are aligned. Push them together until the cam engages.

Attaching to the blower: Align the blowing tube (03/1) with the fitting (03/2) on the leaf blower, ensuring the longitudinal groove (03/3) and cam (03/4) face each other. Push the tube onto the fitting and turn 90° until it engages.
Operation
Switching On/Off: Press the ON/OFF switch (07/1) to start. Release the switch to stop the device.
Turbo Mode: Press and hold the turbo button (06/1) to increase blowing speed. Release the button to return to normal speed.
Battery Status: The charge status indicator (01/7) on the control panel shows the battery level using three segments.
Maintenance and Care
- Remove the battery after each use and check the device for damage.
- Do not expose the device to moisture or spray with water.
- Regularly check electrical contacts for corrosion; clean with a fine wire brush and apply contact spray if necessary.
Troubleshooting
If the device does not blow, check for blockages in the attachment or intake grille. If the motor does not start, check the battery charge, seating, or temperature.
