The Amica AMG 20M70 GBIV is a microwave oven designed for household use. It features a grill function and is operated via two control knobs: one for power level and one for time. Ensure proper installation with at least 20cm of clearance above the unit.
Safety instructions
Important: Do not operate the oven with the door open. Do not disable safety interlocks. If the door or door seals are damaged, do not use the oven until repaired by a qualified technician. Do not heat liquids or food in sealed containers as they may explode. Do not use the oven for storage.
Installation
Place the oven on a flat, level surface. Ensure there is sufficient space for ventilation (at least 20cm above). Do not remove the legs. Do not install the oven over a gas hob or other heat-producing appliances. Do not remove the light brown mica cover inside the oven.
Operation
To operate the oven:
- Place food in the oven and close the door.
- Turn the Power/Action Selector to the desired power level.
- Turn the Timer knob to set the cooking time.
- The oven will start automatically.
- When finished, the oven will signal and stop.
- Always set the timer to '0' when not in use.
Cookware
Use only microwave-safe cookware. Do not use metal containers, metal racks (unless specified for grill mode), or cookware with metal trim. Test cookware by heating it with a cup of water for 1 minute; if the dish becomes hot, it is not suitable.
Cleaning and maintenance
Clean the interior regularly with a damp cloth. Clean accessories in soapy water. Keep door seals clean. Do not use abrasive cleaners. If steam accumulates, wipe with a soft cloth.
