Important: You must install the Intel Chipset Drivers before proceeding with the Audio Driver installation to ensure proper functionality.

System Requirements

Before installing the driver, ensure your system meets the following specifications:

  • Processor: Intel Pentium II/III or Coppermine processor or higher.
  • Operating System: DOS 5.0 or higher, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT 3.51 or 4.0, or OS/2.
  • CD-ROM: Double Speed or higher.
  • Chipset: ADI 1881A.

Installation for Windows 95/98

  1. Insert the provided CD-ROM disk into your CD-ROM drive.
  2. The CD should auto-run. If it does not, open the CD-ROM drive in your file explorer and double-click the CD icon to show the setup screen.
  3. Click on the ADI1881A Sound Drivers icon.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to copy the drivers to your hard drive.
  5. When prompted, restart your Windows 95/98 system.

Note: Windows 95/98 will automatically detect the hardware as "PCI Multimedia Audio Device" and "Gameport Joystick". Follow the prompts to complete the detection.
