This manual covers the operation and maintenance of the Avantco Sealing Lid Rice Cooker/Warmers. Specifications

The rice cookers are available in three models with the following specifications:

• 177RCSB40: 120V, 1300W, 40 Cups Cooked (20 Cups Raw)
• 177RCSB60: 120V, 1550W, 60 Cups Cooked (30 Cups Raw)
• 177RCSB90: 240V, 2650W, 90 Cups Cooked (45 Cups Raw)

Operation

1. Rinse raw rice in a separate container until the water runs clear.
2. Wipe the outside of the inner pot dry and place it inside the cooker. Turn it left and right to ensure it sits properly on the heating plate.
3. Add the measured rice to the pot using the provided measuring cup.
4. Add water to the appropriate graduation mark on the inner pot. Generally, 1 cup of rice requires 1 cup of water.
5. Close and latch the lid firmly.
6. Plug in the power cord and press the cook switch down. The "cook" indicator light will turn on.
7. Once cooking is complete, the unit automatically switches to warming mode.
8. Wait 15 minutes before opening the lid to allow steam to finish cooking the rice.
9. Stir the rice before serving.
10. Turn the switch to OFF and unplug the unit when finished.

Cooking Tips

• Wash rice lightly with warm water; do not scrub with force.
• After washing, let rice soak in water for 30-60 minutes before cooking for best results.
• Do not keep rice in warming mode for more than 12 hours.

Cleaning & Maintenance

• Unplug the unit and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• Do not immerse the outer body in water.
• Clean the outside of the cooker with a damp cloth.
• Soak the cooking pot in hot sudsy water and clean gently with a dish cloth, rubber sponge, or foam sponge.
• Do not use rough cleaning tools, as they will damage the nonstick coating.
• Clean the bushing with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
• Ensure all parts are completely dry before storage.

Safety Precautions

• For commercial and indoor use only.
• Do not touch hot surfaces; use handles.
• Never put water or liquid directly into the outer pot; use only the inner pot.
• Do not block the steam vent on the lid.
• Do not operate the appliance if the cord is damaged.
• Always place the unit on a flat, level surface.
• Do not remove or open the bottom cover; no user-serviceable parts inside.
