Installation
Mounting Bracket
- The Bollard is designed to house a pushplate used to activate a door by either a remote-controlled transmitter or hard-wired directly to the door control.
- If hard-wired, pass the wire through the 1-inch diameter hole in the mounting bracket.
- Mark and drill 3/8" diameter holes in four locations.
- Hammer in and set anchors in the four hole locations.
- Install and tighten nuts to secure the mounting bracket.
Post Assembly
- Align the post to the mounting bracket.
- Attach the post to the mounting bracket using the four provided post mounting screws.
Pushplate Installation
- Thread the pushplate screws into the mounting box, leaving a majority of the screw exposed.
- Attach the pushplate to the mounting screws.
- Use the hex key provided to fully tighten the screws.
Transmitter Installation
- If using a transmitter, attach it to the mounting tray with the included velcro pad. Hard-wired systems do not require this step.
- Attach the plastic cap to the top of the post with three cap mounting screws.
- Tighten screws with the hex key included in the pushplate package.
Note: Panther pushplates do not require a transmitter.
