The beamZ Pro NereId380B is a professional moving head fixture. Before operation, ensure the unit is unpacked and checked for transport damage. Always verify that the mains voltage matches the unit's specifications. For overhead installation, use a safety cable and ensure the mounting structure can support 10 times the unit's weight. The unit is IP65 rated, making it suitable for temporary outdoor use, but it is not designed for permanent outdoor installation.
Safety instructions
- Always allow at least 50 cm of free air space around the unit for ventilation.
- Never look directly into the light beam.
- Do not connect the unit to a dimmer pack.
- If the unit has been exposed to drastic temperature fluctuations, allow it to reach room temperature before switching it on to prevent condensation damage.
- Repairs and servicing must be carried out by a qualified technician.
Installation and rigging
The unit can be set up on a stable surface or mounted to a truss. Use certified clamps and the provided omega brackets. Insert the quick-lock bolts of the omega brackets into the base plate openings and turn clockwise until they lock. Always secure the unit with a safety cable attached to the correct fixation points, never to the transport handles.

DMX512 control
Connect the DMX output of your controller to the DMX input of the first unit in the chain. Connect subsequent units in series. For the last unit in the DMX line, you must install a terminating resistor (120 Ohm) between signal (-) and signal (+) to ensure stable data transmission.

Cleaning and maintenance
Regularly inspect the unit for dust and dirt buildup, which can reduce light output and cooling efficiency. Use a soft, clean, lint-free cloth and a weak detergent solution to clean glass components. Do not use solvents or abrasive products. Check all screws, bolts, and cables for signs of wear or corrosion.
Replacing the fuse
If the fuse is defective, disconnect the unit from the power supply. Open the fuse holder on the rear panel using a screwdriver, remove the old fuse, install a new one of the same type and rating, and replace the holder.

Troubleshooting
If the unit does not respond, check the power supply and fuse. If it does not respond to the DMX controller, verify cable connections, ensure the DMX line is terminated, and check the DMX address settings. If the light output cuts out intermittently, the unit may be overheating; ensure proper airflow and clean the vents.
Technical specifications
The NereId380B features an MSD 18R 380W bulb, 14 colors + open, 12+5 static gobos, and dual prisms (12-facet and 8+16-facet). It supports DMX, Master/Slave, and automatic programs. Power consumption is 3.53 - 1.65A, and it uses a P-Con TR1 power plug.
