  • Do not cover the power cord or run it under carpeting.

Assembly and Installation

The unit is designed to be installed into a fireplace mantel. Assembly requires two people.

  1. Assemble the furniture on a soft surface like a carpet or empty carton to prevent scratches.
  2. Keep children and pets away from the assembly area.
  3. Set the unit from the back of the fireplace mantel and center it in the opening.
  4. Attach the unit to the mantel by inserting screws through the drilled holes on the mantel. Do not attempt to install from the front.

The control panel is located on the top right corner of the unit. The remote control offers additional features.

  • Power ON/OFF: Press the power button to turn the unit on or off.
  • Flame Control: Adjusts flame brightness levels.
  • Heater Control: Turns the heater on or off.
  • Temperature Control: When the heater is ON, press and hold the heater control button for 5 seconds to enter adjustment mode (11 settings, 64°F - 82°F / 18°C - 27°C).
  • Timer Control: Set between 1 to 8 hours in 1-hour intervals.
  • Lock Function: Press and hold the heater control button for 10 seconds to lock/unlock the heater function. The ember bed will flash 6 times to confirm.
  • Sound Control: Long press the flame button for 5 seconds to toggle the fire crackling sound (available via control panel).
  • Changing Temperature Unit: Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius.

Troubleshooting

If the unit malfunctions, check the following error codes:

  • E1: Heater is overheating. Call customer service.
  • E2: NTC is defective. Call customer service.
  • E3: Heat is not working. Ensure vents are not clogged, unplug for 5 minutes, then restart. If the issue persists, call customer service.

Care and Maintenance
