This document provides instructions for the installation of the Belling Farmhouse 100PYR cooker hood. Before starting, ensure you have read the safety information in the user manual. Installation requires two people for safety. Always wear protective gloves during the installation process to avoid injury from sharp edges.

Important safety requirements:
- The minimum distance between the cooking surface and the lowest part of the cooker hood must be at least 65 cm.
- Ensure the wall is strong enough to support the weight of the appliance.
- The unit can be installed in either extraction mode (vented outside) or recirculation mode (filtered air).
Parts included
Before beginning, verify that all components are present:

- A: Main hood body
- B/C: Chimney sections
- W: Charcoal filters (for recirculation mode)
- I: Wall plugs (8x)
- L: Screws (8x)
- N: Screws (4x)
Installation preparation
Determine the installation mode before starting:
- Extraction mode: Requires ducting to be routed outside. Use a pipe with a diameter of 120 mm or 150 mm.
- Recirculation mode: Requires the installation of charcoal filters (W) and the air diverter.
Mark the wall according to the dimensions provided in the manual. Use a spirit level to ensure the hood is perfectly horizontal. The drilling template on page 7 provides the exact spacing for the mounting brackets.
Mounting the cooker hood

- Mark the drilling points on the wall based on the dimensions provided.
- Drill the holes and insert the wall plugs (I).
- Secure the mounting brackets to the wall using the provided screws (L).
- Hang the hood body (A) onto the brackets.
- Secure the hood to the wall using the safety screws.
- Assemble the chimney sections (B and C) and attach them to the top of the hood.
Ducting and ventilation
If using extraction mode, connect the ducting pipe to the hood outlet. Ensure the pipe is secured with clamps. If using recirculation mode, install the air diverter at the top of the chimney to allow air to return to the kitchen.
Filter installation
For recirculation mode, install the charcoal filters (W) onto the motor housing. Rotate the filters until they lock into place. Ensure the grease filters are installed on the underside of the hood before operation.
