This document provides the installation procedure for the Belling 110PYR cooker hood. Before beginning, ensure you have read the safety information contained in the separate User Manual. The installation requires basic tools and should be performed by qualified personnel.

Safety and preparation
Before starting the installation, observe the following safety requirements:

- Safety distance: The hood must be installed at a minimum distance of 65 cm from the cooking surface.
- Protective gear: Wear protective gloves during installation to avoid injury from sharp edges.
- Mounting: Ensure the wall is strong enough to support the weight of the hood. Use the provided wall plugs and screws (I, L, N) appropriate for your wall type.
Installation steps

- Marking: Mark the center line on the wall above the hob to align the hood correctly.
- Drilling: Use the provided template to mark and drill the holes for the mounting brackets.
- Mounting the hood: Secure the main hood body (A) to the wall using the provided screws and wall plugs.
- Chimney assembly: Assemble the chimney sections (B and C) and secure them to the wall brackets.
- Final adjustments: Ensure all screws are tightened and the hood is level.
Ducting and recirculation
The hood can be installed in two modes:

- Extraction mode (Vented): Connect the hood to an external vent using a ducting pipe (120 mm or 150 mm diameter). Secure the pipe with clamps.
- Recirculation mode: Install the charcoal filters (W) onto the motor housing. Ensure the air outlet is clear to allow filtered air to return to the kitchen.
Maintenance and filters
To maintain performance, regularly clean the grease filters. If using the hood in recirculation mode, ensure the charcoal filters are installed correctly and replaced according to the usage frequency specified in the main User Manual.
