The Bosch GAA 18V-48 is a battery adapter designed to use Bosch 18V lithium-ion batteries as a power source. It allows you to charge up to two USB devices and power a heating element for heated workwear simultaneously.
Device description
The adapter features two USB ports (Type A) and a dedicated socket for connecting heated workwear. It includes an integrated belt clip for portability and an activation button to start the power output.
Battery installation
To install the battery, slide it into the adapter until it clicks into place. Do not use force. To remove, press the release buttons on the battery and pull it out.
Operation
Charging USB devices: Connect your USB device's charging cable to one of the USB ports on the adapter. Press the activation button to start charging. The ports will automatically deactivate after 30 seconds if no cable is connected, or once charging is complete to save energy.
Connecting heated workwear: Plug the heating element connector into the dedicated socket on the adapter. Press the activation button to power the heating element. Adjust the heat settings on the garment itself.
Troubleshooting
- USB device not charging: Ensure the battery is charged. Check that the device is compatible with the adapter's output (see technical data).
- Heating element not warming: Ensure the battery is charged and the connection is secure.
- Garment not heating and USB not charging: Remove the battery, wait 10 seconds, and reinsert it.
