Safety instructions

Always wear eye protection. Keep the work area clean and well-lit. Do not operate in explosive atmospheres. Keep children away. Ensure the tool is switched off before connecting the battery. Use only original spare parts.

Assembly

Remove the battery before any maintenance or tool changes. Use only chargers recommended by the manufacturer. The battery is supplied partially charged; charge it fully before first use.

Inserting/changing the saw blade

Wear protective gloves when handling the saw blade. Open the locking lever (10) to open the cover (9). Insert the saw blade, ensuring the drive shaft and end of the blade fit into the receptacle (12). Close and lock the cover. The chain is tensioned automatically.

Operation

To switch on, press the lock-off button (3) to the left or right, then press the on/off switch (4). To switch off, release the on/off switch. Sawing speed is variable based on how hard the switch is pressed.

Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean. Clean the saw blade and receptacle dry using a fine brush. Do not oil the chain.
