The Bosch GSA 12V-14 Professional is a cordless sabre saw designed for cutting wood, plastic, metal, and building materials. It is suitable for both straight and curved cuts. Always ensure the battery is charged before use and the saw blade is securely inserted.

Safety
General Power Tool Safety: Keep the work area clean and well-lit. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres. Keep children and bystanders away while operating.
Sabre Saw Safety: Hold the power tool by insulated gripping surfaces when performing operations where the cutting accessory may contact hidden wiring. Keep hands away from the sawing range and do not reach under the workpiece. Always hold the machine firmly with both hands and ensure a secure stance.
Assembly
Battery Charging: Use only the chargers listed in the technical data. The lithium-ion battery is protected against deep discharging by the Electronic Cell Protection (ECP).

Inserting/Replacing the Saw Blade: Before any work on the power tool, remove the battery. Wear protective gloves when mounting the saw blade. Ensure the saw blade holder is free of material residue (e.g., wood or metal shavings). Turn the locking sleeve approx. 90° in the direction of the arrow and hold. Push the saw blade into the holder and release the locking sleeve.
Operation
Switching On and Off: Push the lock-off button to the right to enable the switch. Press the On/Off switch to start the tool. Release the switch to stop. Push the lock-off button to the left to lock the tool.

Controlling the Stroke Rate: The stroke rate can be controlled steplessly by varying the pressure on the On/Off switch.
Temperature/Overload Indicator: The red LED indicator helps protect the battery from overheating and the motor from overloading. If it lights up continuously red, the battery temperature is too high. If it flashes red, the tool is blocked.
Working Advice
Tips: Check wood, press boards, and building materials for foreign objects like nails or screws before cutting. Apply the machine to the workpiece only when switched on.

Plunge Cutting: This procedure is only suitable for soft materials such as wood or plasterboard. Do not use this method on metal materials.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Prior to any maintenance, switch off the machine and secure the lock-off button. Keep the machine and ventilation slots clean. Clean the saw blade holder preferably with compressed air or a soft brush.
