Safety instructions
General Power Tool Safety: Always keep the work area clean and well-lit. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres. Keep children and bystanders away while operating the tool.
Circular Saw Safety: Keep hands away from the cutting area and the blade. Do not reach underneath the workpiece. Adjust the cutting depth to the thickness of the workpiece. Always hold the power tool firmly with both hands and ensure a stable footing.
Product description
The circular saw is designed for straight and mitre cuts in wood. Key components include the on/off switch, spindle lock button, base plate, and cutting depth/angle adjustment levers.

Assembly
Saw blade installation/removal: Before any work, remove the battery. Press and hold the spindle lock button (10). Use the hex key (29) to loosen or tighten the clamping bolt (27). Ensure the cutting direction of the teeth matches the rotational direction arrow on the guard.

Operation
Setting cutting depth: Adjust the depth to the workpiece thickness so that less than a full tooth is visible below the workpiece. Use the button (20) or lever (21) to set the depth.

Adjusting mitre/bevel angle: Loosen the adjusting lever (5) and wing bolt (15) (for GKS 18V-68 G) or just the lever (5) (for GKS 18V-68). Tilt the saw to the desired angle on the scale (7) and retighten.
Guide rail system: When using the FSN guide rail system, the saw can remain in the holder for mitre cuts. Always use the 0° cut mark (8) when using the guide rail.
Maintenance and cleaning
Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean for safe operation. The lower guard must move freely and close automatically. Clean the area around the guard regularly with a brush. Clean saw blades immediately after use to remove resin or glue residue.
