The Bosch GAL 18V-160 C Professional is an intelligent battery charger designed for Bosch Li-Ion batteries (14.4V - 18V). It features Active Air Cooling, Bluetooth connectivity (with optional module), and multiple charging modes to optimize battery life and charging speed.

Device description
The charger includes a charging slot, a Power Boost button for rapid charging, and LED indicators for battery charge status, temperature/error monitoring, and Bluetooth connection status.
Installation and setup
The charger can be used on a desktop or mounted on a wall using two screws (5mm to 6.5mm diameter). Ensure the mains voltage matches the rating plate. If using the Bluetooth Low Energy Module, ensure it is correctly inserted and locked.

Charging process
Charging begins automatically when the battery is inserted into the slot. The charger detects battery temperature and voltage to apply the optimal charging current.
- Power Boost mode: Charges to approx. 50% capacity rapidly.
- Standard mode: Charges to 100% capacity.
- Long-life mode: Charges to approx. 80% capacity to extend battery life.
- Long-term storage mode: Charges to approx. 50% for long-term storage (6+ months).

Keep the charger clean. If the red temperature/error LED flashes, check if the battery is correctly inserted, contacts are clean, or if the battery/charger is faulty.
