The Chord IEM16 is a professional UHF in-ear monitoring system. Before use, ensure all components are present: UHF wireless transmitter, detachable BNC antenna, UHF bodypack receiver, dual driver in-ear monitor headphones, 19" rack-mounting kit, mains power adapter, and 2 x AA batteries.

Setting up
- Transmitter: Connect the monitor mix signal from a mixing console to the rear XLR/jack inputs. Attach the BNC antenna and extend it fully. Connect the supplied DC power adapter.
- Bodypack Receiver: Open the front cover and insert 2 x AA batteries, observing correct polarity. Connect the in-ear headphones to the 3.5mm jack output.
Transmitter operation
Power on the unit using the Power button. The LCD displays signal levels. Use the SET button to cycle through settings:


- GROUP: Only 1 group available; no change needed.
- CHANNEL: Select one of 16 available UHF frequencies.
- STEREO/MONO: Toggle output mode.
- POW: Select H (high) or L (low) power.
- LOC: Lock/unlock the panel settings.
Bodypack receiver operation
Switch on using the volume control. Open the front cover to access settings:


- GROUP/CHANNEL: Must match the transmitter settings.
- LOC: Lock/unlock balance controls.
- Balance: Use UP/DOWN buttons to adjust left/right output balance.
Up to 4 IEM16 systems can operate in the same area on different frequencies. There is no limit to the number of receivers that can listen to one transmitter.
