The CLAS OH 5306 is a 2.25T service garage jack designed for lifting vehicles. Before first use, it is essential to check the oil level and bleed the hydraulic system to ensure proper operation. Always operate on a hard, level surface and use appropriate support stands for the vehicle.
Safety Warnings
Failure to follow these instructions may result in property damage, personal injury, or fatal injury.

- This is a lifting device only; the load must be supported by other appropriate means (e.g., jack stands).
- Do not move or dolly the load while on the jack.
- Do not operate the jack with passengers in the vehicle or leaning against it.
- Do not exceed the rated load of 2.25T.
- Always wear safety glasses when using the equipment.
- Use only on hard, level surfaces capable of sustaining the load.
- Ensure the lift point is stable and properly centered on the jack saddle.
- Do not attempt to adjust the pressure relief valve set by the manufacturer.

Before Use
Before putting the jack into service, perform the following steps:

- Check Oil Level: With the jack in an upright position and the ram fully retracted, open the release valve by turning the release assembly counterclockwise. Fill if necessary with high-quality hydraulic jack oil (SAE 10). Do not use brake fluid or motor oil.
- Lubricate Internal Components: With the release valve open, pump the handle several strokes to ensure proper internal lubrication.
- Bleed Hydraulic System: If the jack feels "spongy" due to air during transport:
- Close the release valve by turning the handle clockwise.
- Insert the handle into the sleeve and pump the jack to full height.
- Open the release valve by turning the handle counterclockwise.
- Remove the oil filler plug from the cylinder.
- Rapidly pump the handle through several full strokes.
- Replace the oil filler plug.
Operation

Lifting
- Set the parking brake and block the vehicle wheels.
- Turn the release knob clockwise to close the release valve.
- Position the jack under the manufacturer-recommended lifting point.
- Ensure the load is centered on the saddle.
- Insert the handle into the socket and pump until the desired height is reached.
Lowering
Slowly turn the release knob counterclockwise to open the valve. Never turn more than 1/2 full turn of the handle. Lower until the saddle reaches its lowest position, then remove the jack.
Maintenance
- Keep the jack clean.
- Apply lubricating oil to all pivoting sections every three months.
- Frequently check the oil level.
- Periodically check the pump piston and piston rod for signs of rust or corrosion. Clean exposed areas with a clean, oiled cloth.

Practical help
Common problems
The hydraulic system may be 'airbound'. Bleed the system by following the instructions in the 'Before Use' section.
Check the oil level and ensure the release valve is fully closed (turned clockwise).
Before use
- Check oil level with jack in upright position and ram retracted.
- Use only SAE 10 hydraulic jack oil.
- Lubricate internal components by pumping the handle with the valve open.
- Bleed the hydraulic system if the jack was shaken during transport.
- Ensure the vehicle parking brake is set and wheels are blocked.
Specs in practice
- Min/Max Height
- The range of lift is between 140mm and 490mm.
Images and diagrams
- A: Always use jack stands to support the load; do not rely solely on the jack.
- B: Use only on hard, level ground.
- C: Oil level should be checked at the specified max level.
- D: Always block wheels before lifting.
- E: Turn handle clockwise to close the release valve for lifting.
Model compatibility
- Designed for use on hard, level surfaces.
- Do not use brake fluid or motor oil for hydraulic system.
