Quick Guide

The Cuisinart DGB-400 Series is an automatic grind and brew coffeemaker. Before your first use, it is recommended to flush the system by running a brew cycle with water only. Always ensure the reservoir cover and grinder lid are securely closed, as the unit features a safety interlock system that prevents operation if these parts are not properly in place.

Features and Control Panel

The control panel allows you to program the clock, set auto-on times, and adjust auto-off settings. Key features include:

Decalcification: When the CLEAN light illuminates, it is time to decalcify. Fill the reservoir with a mixture of 1/3 white vinegar and 2/3 water. Press and hold the CLEAN button until it flashes. Once the cycle is complete, run a full cycle with fresh, cold water to rinse.
