Quick guide from the manual
The Duality Fuzz is a dual-engine fuzz pedal designed for electric instruments. It allows for precise control over the fuzz character and the blend between clean and overdriven signals. To operate, ensure you use a regulated 9V DC power supply with a center-negative polarity.
Controls
Front Controls
- Level: Adjusts the volume of the overdriven signal.
- Duality: Mixes two discrete fuzz circuits. Set to minimum for a pure gated saw-tooth wave, or increase for a tighter high-gain fuzz.
Back Controls
To access the internal controls, open the magnetic bottom lid.
- Blend: Mixes the clean input signal with the overdriven signal. The clean signal remains at unity gain, while the Level knob sets the volume of the overdriven signal.
- Filter: Controls the amount of high-frequency content in the fuzz signal.
Power Requirements
The Duality Fuzz requires a regulated 9V DC adapter with a center-negative plug. The unit has a current draw of approximately 40mA. Using unregulated power supplies or higher voltages may result in suboptimal noise performance or damage to the unit, which voids the warranty.

Practical help
Common problems
Ensure you are using a regulated 9V DC power supply with a center-negative plug. Unregulated supplies or higher voltages may cause issues.
These controls are located inside the pedal. Open the magnetic bottom lid to access them.
Before use
- Verify the power supply is 9V DC, center-negative, and regulated.
- Ensure the power supply can provide at least 40mA of current.
- Register your product at http://mypedal.darkglass.com for warranty activation.
- Locate the serial number on the back of the pedal for registration.
