Warranty Overview and Coverage
The Deye SUN Series inverter 10-year limited warranty applies to specific hybrid, string, and all-in-one inverters installed in Australia and New Zealand. The warranty period is 10 years from the date of original purchase, provided the product is used in compliance with the Deye user manual.
Warranty Terms
- First 5 years: Covers all parts and labor charges for repair or replacement of defective products.
- Second 5 years: Covers parts only. This excludes labor charges, LCD screens, fan components, shipments, and on-site labor costs.
Note: If a warranty period was specified on the sales order, that period takes precedence.
What is Covered
The warranty covers products that are inoperable due to defects in material and workmanship, as established by Deye inspection. Deye reserves the right to use new or reconditioned parts for repairs or replacements. If a product is repaired or replaced, the warranty continues for the remainder of the original warranty period or 90 days from the date of return shipment, whichever is later.
Exclusions
Warranty service is excluded for damages caused by:
- Breaking the product seal or opening the casing without permission.
- Transport damage.
