Important Safety Information
This document provides critical safety instructions for the DigiTech Drop effect pedal. Users must adhere to these guidelines to prevent electrical shock, fire, or damage to the unit.
- Do not open the unit: There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Opening the chassis voids the manufacturer's warranty.
- Moisture protection: Keep the unit dry. Do not expose it to dripping or splashing liquids. If liquid is spilled on the unit, shut it off immediately, disconnect it, and take it to a dealer for service.
- Environment: Use the product indoors only. Do not use the product at altitudes above 2000m.
- Ventilation: Do not block any ventilation openings. Install the unit in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
- Heat sources: Do not install the unit near heat sources such as radiators, stoves, or amplifiers.
- Storms: Unplug the apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods.
Electrical Safety and Wiring
The device must be connected to a mains socket outlet with a protective earthing connection. If the provided plug does not fit your outlet, consult an electrician.

If you need to replace the plug or wire the unit, follow the standard color coding for mains leads:
- Green and Yellow: Earth (Ground)
- Blue: Neutral
- Brown: Live
The green/yellow wire must be connected directly to the unit's chassis. If the ground is defeated, fault conditions can result in full line voltage between the chassis and earth ground, posing a risk of severe injury or death.
Regulatory Compliance and Disposal
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. It is classified as Professional Audio Equipment. For disposal, do not mix this product with general household waste. Use the designated collection system for used electronic products in accordance with local legislation.
