The Dimplex Mini Cube is a free-standing electric heater with a built-in flame effect. It features three switches to control the flame effect and heat output. Always ensure the heater is placed on a stable, horizontal surface and that the plug remains accessible.

Controls
The heater is operated using three switches located on the unit (see Fig. 2):

- Switch 1 (I): Controls the electricity supply to the heater and the flame effect. This switch must be in the ON (I) position for the heater to operate with or without heat.
- Switch 2 (I): Provides 750W heat output.
- Switch 3 (II): Provides 1500W heat output (must be used with Switch 2 in the ON position).
A switch is in the ON position when the side with the markings (I or II) is pushed in.
Important Safety Advice
To ensure safe operation, please observe the following precautions:
- Clearance: Keep textiles, curtains, and other flammable materials at least 1 meter away from the air outlet.
- Obstructions: Do not cover or obstruct the heat outlet grille located underneath the appliance. Overheating will result if the appliance is covered.
- Environment: Do not use in the immediate surroundings of a bath, shower, or swimming pool. Do not use outdoors.
- Vulnerable Persons: This heater is not equipped with a room temperature control device. Do not use in small rooms occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room on their own, unless under constant supervision.
- Installation: The appliance must be earthed. Do not locate immediately above or below a fixed socket outlet or connection box.
- Surface: Not recommended for use on deep pile carpets or long hair rugs.
Thermal Safety Cut-out
The heater features a built-in overheat cut-out that switches off the appliance automatically in the event of a fault. If this occurs, switch off the appliance or disconnect the mains plug. After a short cooling-down phase, the appliance is ready for use again. If the fault persists, contact your local dealer.
Maintenance and Cleaning
WARNING: Always disconnect from the power supply before attempting any maintenance.
- General Cleaning: Use a soft, clean duster. Never use abrasive cleaners.
- Glass Screen: Clean carefully with a soft cloth. Do not use proprietary glass cleaners.
- Outlet Grille: To remove dust or fluff, use the soft brush attachment of a vacuum cleaner.
Technical Information
The heater uses LED bulbs for the flame effect, which are energy-efficient. The unit is designed to be free-standing and is normally positioned against a wall. If you hear a sound related to the flame effect operation, this is normal, especially in very quiet environments.
