Preparation

Attaching the castors
Attaching the castors
  • Castors: With the power head removed, turn the container upside down and slot the four castors into position.
  • Hose: Insert the large end of the hose into the vacuum port and lock it by pushing and twisting.
  • Drain Plug: Ensure the drain plug is securely fitted before starting any operation.

Dry vacuuming

For dry vacuuming, you must use the cloth filter. Slide the cloth filter over the float cage, ensuring it covers down to the base. If using the paper dust bag, fix it to the inner side of the hose connector inside the tank. Warning: Never use the machine without the cloth filter, as this will burn out the motor and void the warranty.

Wet vacuuming

For wet vacuuming, remove the cloth filter and install the foam filter over the float cage. Warning: Never vacuum dry dust with the foam filter fitted, as it provides no protection for the motor. If the tank becomes full of liquid, the float regulator will cover the motor air inlet, causing the motor to become noisier; turn off the unit immediately and empty the tank using the drain plug.

Power tool dust extraction

The vacuum features a power tool socket (1300W Max). Plug the power tool lead into the socket on the vacuum. Switch the vacuum to position 'II'. The vacuum will start one second after the power tool is activated and will run for approximately 5 seconds after the tool is turned off.

Maintenance

Regularly clean or change the cloth filter to maintain performance. Clean the cloth filter by gently tapping or brushing off dirt, or wash with mild soap and water, then rinse and allow to dry completely before re-installation. Check hoses and the power cord regularly for damage.

Dust clearing button

If suction power decreases due to dust build-up on the filter, block the hose inlet and push the dust clearing button. This blasts air through the filter to shake off dust back into the tank.
