Important Warranty Information

This document outlines the Express Warranty provided by Franke Australia for Duravit products used in a domestic or residential setting. This warranty is in addition to rights provided under the Australian Consumer Law.

Warranty Coverage Periods

The following warranty periods apply to products purchased after 6th August 2020:

• Ceramic Toilets: 15 years parts, 1 year labour.
• Ceramic Basins: 15 years parts, 1 year labour.
• Ceramic Urinals: 15 years parts, 1 year labour.
• Toilet Seats and Seat Hinges: 10 years parts, no labour coverage.
• Toilet Flushing Mechanisms: 2 years parts, 1 year labour (excludes seals and washers).
• Toilet Seals and Washers: 1 year parts, no labour coverage.
• Bathroom Furniture: 5 years parts, 1 year labour.
• Bathtubs and Shower Trays: 5 years parts, 1 year labour.

Conditions and Exclusions

The warranty does not cover damage or defects resulting from:

• Alteration, modification, or disassembly of the product.
• Use contrary to provided instructions or maintenance guidelines.
• Abuse, misuse, negligence, vandalism, or willful damage.
• Corrosion from environmental conditions or chemical treatments.
• External sources such as faulty installation, power failure, or blown fuses.
• Natural disasters or 'acts of God'.
• Normal wear and tear.
• Commercial use.
• Installation not performed by a qualified installer or licensed plumber.
• Products purchased second-hand or at auction.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you become aware of a defect, damage, or deterioration, you must stop using the product immediately and report it to Franke Australia within the warranty period.

1. Submit an enquiry at www.prkws.com or call (03) 9700 9100.
2. Provide the model number of your product.
3. Provide product identification (e.g., serial number).
4. Describe the problem experienced.
5. Provide a copy of your original purchase receipt.
6. Provide the address details where the product is installed.
7. Attach any relevant pictures if lodging the claim online.

Warranty Area and Expenses

Franke Australia will provide the remedy at its cost, provided the claim is valid. If the product is located outside a 50km radius from the store where it was purchased (Warranty Area), you are responsible for the cost of delivery to the nearest service agent or the travel cost for a technician to travel to your location.
