Quick guide from the manual

The XP Foamer is an industrial hygiene station designed for foaming, rinsing, and sanitizing. Before use, ensure the unit is properly installed, connected to water, air, and electricity, and that the pipeline has been rinsed. Always wear protective gear, including glasses and gloves, when operating the unit.

Installation

The unit can be mounted on a wall or used as a mobile version. Ensure the wall has sufficient load-bearing capacity for the wall-mounted version, or that the floor is level for the mobile version. The unit must be placed in a frost-free room on a non-vibrating surface. Maintain adequate free space around the unit for easy operation.

Connecting the unit

Before operation, connect the water, cleaning products, and electricity:

Grounding methods
Grounding methods
  • Water: Connect the inlet water hose using a 3/4 inch GHT male connector.
  • Products: Install pick-up hoses on both check valves and connect them to product cans using color-coded cap adaptors.
  • Electricity: Connect the plug to a properly grounded wall socket. Always connect electricity last.

Testing the unit

Perform the following tests to ensure the unit is ready for use:

  1. Rinse function: Turn the selector knob to rinse, connect the rinse wand, and open the ball valve.
  2. Foam function: Turn the selector knob to foam, connect the foam nozzle, and open the ball valve. The pump and compressor will start.
  3. Sanitize function: Turn the selector knob to sanitize, connect the sanitizing nozzle, and open the ball valve.

If all tests perform correctly, the unit is ready for operation. Note that when opening the ball valve after stopping in foam position, a brief burst of foam/air/water may occur.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance is required to ensure optimal performance:

  • Leak checking: Periodically remove the cover using a 4mm Allen key to inspect all connections and hoses for leaks.
  • Descaling: Follow the descaling intervals provided in the manual based on water hardness to prevent lime build-up.
  • Service: All service and maintenance must be performed by authorized and qualified personnel.

Specifications

The 110V 60Hz version operates at 1x110 Vac +/- 10% with a nominal current of 11.1 A. The maximum water temperature is 158°F (70°C), and the unit is rated IP 54.
