This manual provides instructions for the safe and correct use of the Eurom HVF 16-P High Speed Fan. It is intended for indoor use only. Please read all safety instructions carefully before assembling or operating the device.
Description
The HVF 16-P is a high-velocity fan designed for indoor use. Key components include the main body, control knob, base, power plug, pedestals, fan, and safety grill.

Safety
General Safety Instructions:
- Do not splash water on or in the device.
- Do not immerse any part of the device in water or other liquids.
- Never insert fingers or objects into the openings.
- Do not spray insect repellents or cleaning agents on the device.
- Do not expose the device to strong vibrations or mechanical stress.
- Do not cover the device during use; keep textiles, curtains, and hair at least 30 cm away.
Safety During Operation:
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not use if parts are dirty or wet.
- Do not use in humid environments (e.g., bathrooms, laundry rooms) or near water sources (baths, showers, pools).
- Do not use in dusty or dirty environments.
- Do not use near flammable materials, liquids, or fumes.
- Do not use near heat sources or open fire.
- Do not use at temperatures above 40°C.
- Do not use with automatic switching devices like timers or dimmers.
Assembly
The device is packed in one box. To assemble:


- Locate the left and right pedestals.
- Click the pedestals into the slot under the base. Refer to the markings on the pedestals for correct orientation.
Installation
- Place the device on a flat, stable surface.
- Ensure a minimum distance of 30 cm from any object, wall, or ceiling.
- Ensure the control knob is in the OFF position.
- Plug the device into an easily accessible, grounded wall socket.
Note on Extension Cables: Avoid using extension cables. If unavoidable, use an undamaged, grounded cable with a minimum power rating of 50 Watts and unwind it completely to prevent overheating.
Operation

- Ensure your hands are dry and the device is clean and undamaged.
- Turn the control knob to the desired setting:
- Level 1: Low
- Level 2: Medium
- Level 3: High
- To adjust the wind direction, ensure the device is OFF, then carefully push the main body to the desired angle.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Cleaning:
- Clean the device after each use and before storage.
- Vacuum the openings carefully to remove dust and dirt.
- Wipe the device with a damp, clean, soft, lint-free cloth or a soft brush.
- Let the device dry completely before use or storage.
Important: Do not use scouring pads, hard brushes, or flammable/aggressive cleaning products. Do not perform any repairs or modifications yourself; these must be carried out by a EUROM authorized professional.

Common problems

Check that the pedestals are correctly clicked into the base slots.
