Quick guide from the manual

This document provides instructions for installing and maintaining the Falcon Ridge Soft Rear Window (KAW-PROMX-RW01) for the Kawasaki Pro-MX. The installation process relies on adhesive Velcro strips. For best results, perform the installation in temperatures of 70°F (21°C) or warmer. If the weather is cold, store the adhesive strips at room temperature before application.

Installation

Before starting, ensure the vehicle is clean and the work area is flat. Verify all parts are present:

  • 2x 10" adhesive Velcro strips
  • 2x 22" adhesive Velcro strips
  • 1x 25" adhesive Velcro strip
  • 1x 42" adhesive Velcro strip

Steps:

  1. Top Bar: Apply the 8" and 25" adhesive Velcro strips to the top rear bar. The 25" strip should be positioned between the two roof brackets.
  2. Side Bars: Apply the two 22" adhesive Velcro strips down the side bars. You may need to cut the Velcro to fit the frame sections correctly.
  3. Bottom: Secure the bottom of the rear window using the 42" adhesive Velcro strip. Apply it across the bottom plastic overhang from one side to the other.

Cleaning and Storage

Proper care is essential to maintain the clarity of the window panels:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft rag or sponge with a mild liquid detergent and warm water. Never rub the windows with a dry cloth, as this can cause scratches.
  • Storage: Always roll the cab for storage; never fold it, as folding will damage the windows. Roll the cab to a diameter of approximately 8 inches and store it in the original carton at room temperature. Avoid extreme heat or cold during storage.

For extended service life, a special cleaner conditioner is available from Falcon Ridge. Additional hook and loop sets can also be ordered if needed.

Safety

Do not smoke inside the cab or expose the enclosure to direct flames, as the material is flammable.
