Quick guide from the manual

This document provides instructions for the installation and maintenance of the Falcon Ridge Soft Door Kit (CA-DEFMAX-SDK01) for the Can-Am Defender Max. The installation is best performed at temperatures of 70°F (21°C) or warmer to ensure proper adhesion of the Velcro strips. If installing in colder conditions, store the adhesive Velcro at room temperature prior to installation.

Installation

  1. Preparation: Clean the roll cage and plastic surrounding the doors thoroughly, preferably using rubbing alcohol, to ensure the Velcro strips adhere correctly.
  2. Velcro Application: Place the 2-inch adhesive Velcro strips around the outside edges of the front door frame, moving toward the back. Pull the Velcro into a curve as needed; wrinkles are normal. Rub the Velcro down firmly for maximum adhesion.
  3. Door Attachment: Attach the doors to the Velcro along the top and sides, starting from the front corner and working toward the back.
  4. Securing the Bottom: Insert the snap studs into the sockets in the canvas first. Push the screw into the plastic hard enough to leave a mark, then remove the stud and screw it into the plastic at the marked location. Finally, snap the door into place.

Cleaning and Storage

To maintain the enclosure and prevent scratching the window panels:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft rag or sponge with a mild liquid detergent and warm water. Never rub the windows with a dry cloth. Allow the enclosure to dry completely before storage.
  • Storage: Always roll the enclosure for storage; never fold it, as this will damage the windows. Roll the cab to a diameter of approximately 8 inches and store at room temperature. Avoid exposing the enclosure to extreme heat or cold.

Safety and Support

Do not smoke inside the cab or expose the enclosure to direct flames, as the material is flammable. For missing or damaged parts, contact customer service at 606-845-7439.
