The Fiamma Deluxe DJ Ladder is a rear-mounted ladder designed for specific commercial vehicles. Before beginning, ensure your vehicle model (Mercedes Sprinter, VW Crafter, or Ford Transit) is compatible with the specific kit version. The ladder weighs 5.5 kg. Professional installation is highly recommended to ensure the vehicle wall or door is sufficiently solid to support the ladder. Always check the ladder's attachment periodically, especially after the first few kilometers and before or after long trips.

Product description

The Deluxe DJ ladder is an aluminum structure designed for rear installation. It features a height of 276 cm and a width of 34 cm. The package includes the ladder sections, mounting brackets, and necessary hardware (bolts, nuts, washers). Note that specific fixing bars may be required depending on your vehicle model and are sold separately or as part of specific kits.

Installation

Installation should be performed by qualified personnel. Ensure the vehicle wall or door is solid enough to guarantee the resistance of the anchoring points. If not, reinforcement is mandatory.

Step 1: Initial assembly

Attach the mounting brackets (F1, F2) to the ladder structure (A) using the provided M6x12 bolts (E) and washers (G). Attach the top handle (B) using the M6x45 bolts (C) and M6 DIN 986 nuts (D).

Step 2: Fixing bars

For the installation of the fixing bars, refer to the specific instructions provided with your vehicle-specific kit. The fixing bars are required to mount the ladder to the vehicle body. Ensure the bars are correctly aligned and secured.

Step 3: Transit specific installation

For the Kit Bars DJ Transit (>= 14), follow the specific sequence provided in the manual to secure the ladder to the vehicle's rear structure.

Safety and maintenance

• Check for damage: Inspect all parts upon receipt. If any component is damaged or deformed, do not install and contact your dealer.
• Vehicle compatibility: Verify that your vehicle model and year match the requirements for the ladder kit.
• Speed limits: Always comply with local speed limits and traffic regulations. Adjust speed according to traffic conditions and the load being transported.
• Periodic checks: Regularly inspect the ladder's attachment points. Check tightness after the first few kilometers of travel and before/after long trips.
• Modifications: Do not modify the product in any way.
