The Fiamma Turbo Vent is a 12V roof light designed for installation on vehicle roofs with a thickness between 30mm and 85mm. It requires a 39x39cm square opening. The unit features a thermostat (Polar Control) for automatic speed and direction adjustment. Always ensure the speed control is in the OFF position before performing any electrical work.

- Internal frame
- Mosquito net
- Installation hardware (screws)
Installation

- Decide on the installation location, ensuring no interference with internal cabinets, cables, or external accessories like luggage racks.
- Cut a 39x39cm square hole in the roof.
- Seal the lower part of the external frame using a recommended sealant (SIKALASTOMER-710, THEROSTAT II, or DEKALIN 1512).
- Place the external frame into the opening, ensuring hinges face the front of the vehicle.
- Fasten the external frame using 20 self-tapping screws (Ø4.2x30mm).
- Apply silicone around the perimeter and over screw heads to ensure a watertight seal.
- Connect the electrical cables (12V DC only, not 220V).
- Fasten the internal frame using 8 self-tapping screws (Ø3.5x15mm).
- Remove the protective plastic from the cover.
Electrical connection
The unit must be connected directly to a 12V DC battery. Ensure the speed control is in the OFF position before connecting the input cables to the electric motor. Refer to the wiring diagram on page 14 for specific color-coded connections.

Thermostat operation
The Polar Control thermostat is active when the knob is set within the designated area. The motor will automatically start and identify the set speed and direction (IN-OUT) based on the temperature.
Maintenance and cleaning
- Cleaning: Use only neutral, non-aggressive detergents. For the Crystal cover, use an acrylic glass cleaner with a soft cloth. Do not use alcohol-based cleaners, solvents, or abrasive products.
- Lubrication: If the opening/closing mechanism becomes stiff, apply a few drops of grease.
- Inspection: Periodically check the tightness of all screws, especially after the first few kilometers and before/after long trips.
Safety warnings
- Do not walk on the product cover.
- Do not open the roof light while the vehicle is in motion.
- Do not open during strong wind or rain.
- Remove snow or ice accumulation.
- Maximum permitted vehicle speed with the roof light installed is 130 km/h.
