The Fiamma Vent 28 F is a rooflight designed for camper vans and motorhomes. Key requirements for installation include a 28x28 cm square opening and a roof thickness between 54 and 68 mm. Always use recommended sealants such as SIKALASTOMER-710, THEROSTAT II, or DEKALIN 1512. The unit must be installed with hinges facing the front of the vehicle.

Installation instructions

- Decide on the installation location, ensuring the roof surface is flat and free of obstructions like cables or reinforcements.
- Cut a 28x28 cm square hole in the roof.
- Apply the recommended sealant to the lower part of the external frame, following the designated rails.
- Place the external frame into the opening, ensuring the hinges face the front of the vehicle.
- Install the inner frame and secure the rooflight using the 4 supplied screws. Tighten screws to 1.2 N.m, ensuring the frame adheres to the roof without deformation.
- Mount the mosquito net frame using the pressure hooks.
- Remove the protective plastic from the cover.
Operation
The rooflight is operated manually. Ensure the safety cable tie is removed before opening the cover for the first time. To open or close, use the provided mechanism. Always ensure the rooflight is properly closed before driving.

Care and maintenance
Regular maintenance is essential for longevity:
- Cleaning: Use only neutral, non-aggressive detergents. For the Crystal cover, use an acrylic glass cleaner with a soft cloth to avoid scratches. Never use alcohol-based cleaners, solvents, or abrasive products.
- Lubrication: If the opening/closing mechanism becomes stiff, apply a few drops of grease.
- Inspection: Periodically check the tightness of all screws, especially after the first few kilometers following installation and before/after long trips. Check the cover for cracks.
- Mosquito net: Remove from the pressure fittings and clean with water and a neutral detergent.
Safety warnings
- It is forbidden to walk on the product cover.
- Do not open the rooflight while the vehicle is in motion.
- Do not open the rooflight in strong wind or rain.
- Remove snow or ice from the rooflight.
- Always comply with speed limits and traffic regulations.
