This manual provides instructions for the Fieldmann FVC 2011-EK and FVC 2013-EK submersible pumps. These devices are designed for private household use to transfer water between locations. Important: Never run the pump dry, as this can damage the mechanical gasket. Ensure the pump is used in a tank with minimum dimensions of 40 x 40 x 50 cm to allow the float switch to move freely.
Machine description
The pump consists of the following main components:

Installation
The pump can be installed in a permanent position using either a rigid or flexible pipe. Follow these guidelines:
- Never hang the pump by the outlet hose or power cord without additional support.
- The pump must be placed on the bottom of the tank or hung on a holder.
- Ensure the bottom of the tank is protected against dirt and residue.
- Check that the electrical connection is 230 V ~ 50 Hz and the socket is in good condition.
- Ensure moisture cannot reach the electrical power source.
Operation
The pump is suitable for water in distribution systems and chlorinated pool water. It is not suitable for sewage, salt water, aggressive/combustible substances, food processing, or drinking water. The maximum water temperature is 35 °C.
Maintenance
To ensure a long lifetime, perform regular maintenance:
- If the pump is moved frequently, rinse it with clean water after each use.
- Check the working order of the switching float every 3 months.
- Remove fibrous deposits inside the pump using a current of water.
- Clean mud from the floor of the pumping pit every 3 months.
- Remove deposits on the float using clean water.
- If the impeller is clogged, flush the pump body with clean water.
Troubleshooting
If the pump does not start, check the power supply and ensure the float switch is not stuck. If the pump is not flowing, check if the suction sieve is clogged or the pressure hose is bent. If the pump turns off after a short time, it may be due to the temperature fuse; disconnect the plug, clean the pump, and ensure the water temperature does not exceed 35 °C.
