Quick guide from the manual
The Flamma FC12 is a compact drum machine pedal designed for guitarists. Key operations include selecting from 48 different drum grooves across 6 genres, adjusting tempo via the knob or tap tempo function, and adding variations using the Fill function. The device requires a 9V DC power supply (center negative) with at least 210mA current.
Layout
The pedal features a footswitch for play/stop/fill/tap tempo, a genre selector, and knobs for level and EQ/speed. Input and output are standard 1/4 inch mono jacks.
Functional operation
- Preparation: Connect your instrument and amplifier. Set EQ to the 12 o'clock position and level to minimum before starting.
- Play/Stop: Press the footswitch once to start or stop the drum machine.
- Selecting a groove: Use the genre selector to choose between Pop/Rock, Funk/Blues, or Metal/Jazz. Rotate the RHYTHM knob to select one of the 8 rhythm types per genre.
- Speed settings: Rotate the EQ/SPEED knob to adjust tempo (40-260bpm). Alternatively, hold the footswitch to enter TAP TEMPO mode, then press the footswitch three times to set the speed.
- Fill function: Press the LED button to toggle the Fill function. When active, pressing the footswitch during playback adds a drum variation.
- EQ adjustment: Press and hold the LED button while rotating the EQ/SPEED knob to adjust the drum machine EQ. The 12 o'clock position is neutral. Rotate left for low-cut (for FRFR devices) or right for high-frequency enhancement.
Safety and maintenance
Use only a 9V DC power supply with at least 210mA. Do not use the device near water or heat sources. Clean only with a dry cloth. Ensure the power cord is protected from being walked on or pinched.
