- 2 Cable Method (No FX Loop): Standard pedalboard chain setup.
- 2 Cable Method (With FX Loop): Pedal placed within the amplifier's effects loop.
- 3/4 Cable Method: Advanced setups using the Key input. This allows the gate to trigger directly from your guitar signal, ensuring clean to high-gain transitions without adjusting the Threshold knob.

Common problems
Audible noise or hum
If using the Key input in 3CM or 4CM setups, engage the Ground Lift switch to eliminate ground loop noise.
Gate not triggering correctly with high gain
Ensure you are using the Key input with a 3CM or 4CM setup. This allows the gate to trigger from the clean guitar signal rather than the affected signal.
