Quick guide from the manual
The Futaba SBE-1 is a signal converter designed to allow the use of conventional PWM receivers (up to 10 channels) with S.BUS devices, such as the CGY750 gyro. This device converts standard PWM signals into S.BUS system signals.
Connection Method
To set up the SBE-1, follow these connection steps:

- Receiver Connection: Connect the input connectors to your conventional system receiver. You can connect up to 10 channels.
- Power Supply: You must always connect the CH1 and CH2 connectors to the receiver to supply power to both the SBE-1 and the connected S.BUS device.
- S.BUS Connection: Connect the S.BUS output connector to the S.BUS input connector of your S.BUS device.
- Accessories: Use the included Output Connector Adapter if you need to connect the output to an S.BUS Hub with a cable.
LED Indicators
The green LED on the SBE-1 provides status information:
- Blinking: No signal is being received.
- Steady light: PWM input is being received on at least one channel.
