Important Information

These welding gloves are designed to protect against splashes of molten metal and are suitable for all-round welding jobs. Users must inspect gloves for damage before every use. If the gloves are damaged, contaminated, or if you are in doubt about their condition, discard them and select a new pair. Proper selection and risk assessment based on the intended application are the responsibility of the user.

Donning and Doffing

Donning: Select the correct size for your hand. Hold the glove by the cuff with one hand. Align the glove thumb with your other hand's thumb and slide your hand into the glove, ensuring one finger goes into each finger slot. Pull by the cuff to align fingers into the correct position. Repeat for the other hand.

Doffing: If the gloves are not contaminated, pull by the fingertips to remove them. If the gloves are contaminated, hold the glove by the cuff and pull toward the fingers until the gloves come off.

Safety Warnings

• Entanglement: Do not wear gloves when there is a risk of entanglement with moving machine parts.
• Electric Shock: These gloves do not provide protection against electric shock caused by defective equipment or live working. Electrical resistance is reduced if gloves are wet, dirty, or soaked with sweat.
• Molten Metal: In the event of a molten metal splash, leave the working area immediately and remove the glove. The glove may not eliminate all burn risks.
• Open Flame: Do not expose gloves to open flames.
• Hot Objects: Do not use wet gloves to handle hot objects.
• Latex Allergy: Gloves containing latex may cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals.
• Puncture Resistance: Resistance to puncture does not guarantee protection against sharp objects like hypodermic needles.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Gloves can be cleaned with a damp cloth, but this will not stop permeation processes. Cleaning or disinfecting may negatively affect the quality and performance characteristics of the gloves. Performance levels declared may differ for worn or cleaned gloves.

Storage and Transport

Gloves are packed in plastic bags and then in cardboard boxes. It is recommended to store unused gloves in their original packaging and prevent exposure to direct sunlight. When stored correctly, unused gloves will not suffer changes in mechanical properties for up to five years from the date of manufacture.

Technical Standards

This product is classed as Category II Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). It complies with the following standards: EN 388:2016+A1:2018, EN 407:2020, EN 12477:2001+A1:2005 (Type A), EN 1149-2:1997, and EN ISO 21420:2020.
