This document outlines the warranty procedures for Growatt products in the UK and Ireland. Growatt provides remote support, repair services, and conditional on-site support. For any warranty claim or technical support, contact the UK service centre.

Warranty Periods
Warranty periods vary by product type and are calculated from the date of installation (with a maximum limit from the delivery date from Growatt):
- On-grid inverters (MIN, MIC, MOD, MID series): 10 years (max 10.5 years from delivery).
- MAX 50-125KTL3 LV / MID50K TL3-X2: 5 years (max 5.5 years from delivery).
- Residential/Commercial Storage inverters (SPA, SPH, MIN-XH, MOD-XH, MID-XH series): 10 years (max 10.5 years from delivery).
- Off-grid inverters (SPF series): 2 years (max 2.5 years from delivery).
- Battery Systems (APX, ARK, GBLI 6532, ML33RTA, AXE LV): 10 years (max 10 years and 3 months from delivery).
- Monitoring devices: 2 years.
- Portable power stations: 2-5 years depending on model.
- EV Chargers: 3 years (max 3.5 years from delivery).
Warranty Scope
The warranty covers defects in design, components, and manufacturing. It does not cover:
- Breaking the product seal without approval.
- Transport damage.
- Incorrect installation or commissioning.
- Non-compliance with the user/installation manual.
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs.
- Natural wear and tear.
- Insufficient ventilation.
- Force majeure (lightning, over voltage, storm, fire).
Warranty Claim Procedure
If a device becomes defective, follow these steps:



- Contact Support: Installers must contact Growatt technical support via phone or email to attempt remote resolution.
- RMA Issuance: If the device is faulty, Growatt will issue an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization).
- Submit Claim: Fill out the online warranty claim form on the OSS system.
- Replacement: Growatt will provide a replacement unit. Installers must record the serial numbers of both the faulty and replacement units.
- Return: Faulty units should be collected and returned to the warehouse once accumulated to one pallet or more.
End User Support
If your installer has gone into liquidation, contact Growatt directly by phone or email. Growatt will confirm basic information (status LED, fault message, model) and, if the device is deemed faulty, provide a link to the online warranty claim form. The end user is responsible for finding an installer to replace the unit.

Ensure all required materials are provided, including the warranty card, original purchase/installation invoice, and clear photos of the error and nameplate.
Apply via the Online Smart Service (OSS) system within 18 months of installation and no more than 24 months from the delivery date.
Before use
- Check the warranty card packed in the box.
- Verify the product code and specific warranty period.
- Ensure the installer is qualified for re-commissioning.
- Keep original purchase and installation invoices.
- Record the serial number of the product.
