This document provides installation and usage instructions for the AXOR Urquiola faucet series (11042XXX and 11043XXX). The product is designed exclusively for drinking water. Please ensure that hot and cold water supplies have balanced pressures before installation.
Installation
Before installation, inspect the product for transport damage. Once installed, transport or surface damage claims will not be honored. Pipes and fixtures must be installed, flushed, and tested according to applicable standards. Wear gloves during installation to prevent crushing and cutting injuries.



Installation Steps
Refer to pages 33-35 for the detailed installation sequence:
- Step 1-5: Initial mounting, sealing, and pipe connection.
- Step 6-10: Final assembly, tightening, and lubrication.
- Step 11-16: Final adjustments, handle installation, and aerator maintenance.

The faucet is equipped with the EcoSmart (flow limiter) as standard.
- Operating pressure: max. 1 MPa
- Recommended operating pressure: 0.1 - 0.5 MPa
- Test pressure: 1.6 MPa
- Hot water temperature: max. 60°C
- Thermal disinfection: 70°C / 4 min
Maintenance and Usage
EcoSmart Adjustment: If you experience problems with an instantaneous water heater or require a higher water flow, the EcoSmart flow limiter located behind the aerator can be removed.
Cleaning: Do not use silicone containing acetic acid. Hansgrohe recommends not using the first half-liter of water drawn in the morning or after a prolonged period of non-use as drinking water.

Common problems

If the instantaneous water heater causes problems, remove the EcoSmart flow limiter.
