This manual provides essential installation and operation instructions for the Hansgrohe Talis S² Variarc kitchen mixer. Always wear gloves during installation to prevent crushing and cutting injuries. Ensure that hot and cold water supplies are balanced before installation. If connecting a dishwasher or washing machine to the appliance connection valve, ensure it carries the DVGW emblem; otherwise, the valve must be plugged.

Hansgrohe mixers can be used with hydraulically and thermally controlled continuous flow heaters if the flow pressure is at least 0.15 MPa.
Installation
The fitting must be installed, flushed, and tested according to valid norms. Refer to page 17 for the step-by-step installation sequence, including mounting the base and connecting the water supplies.

Operation
The mixer is operated via a single lever. Lift the lever to open and adjust the flow; turn left or right to adjust the temperature (see page 21).
Adjustment
The mixer features a hot water limiter. To adjust this, follow the steps on page 23. Note that if you are using a continuous flow water heater, this adjustment is generally not necessary.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Do not use silicone containing acetic acid. For cleaning, refer to the enclosed brochure. For spare parts, refer to the diagram on page 22.
